This show plays with the physical concept of equilibrium using Harton's common theme of house forms. In this case, the forms encompass human and geometric patterns in various poses depicting balance (or suggesting imbalance), and these are repeated around the room to illustrate the idea. The sculptures in this exhibit were all fabricated in 2012 from wood and painted. House shapes are 15.5" x 10", 10" x 6", 8.25" x 4.5", and 7" x 3.5". |
