The Pig Collection

The pigs in the collection are life-size adults, just over four feet in length and about two feet in height.  They are made of cast aluminum, hand finished, and painted with automotive paint.  During finishing, each pig is handled and treated as though it were a fine automobile being readied for the showroom.   Beaver Street Gallery will be showing six pigs from the Collection during May and June, 2009, and the artist plans to begin making another set of six soon. 
Following the show at BSG, The Pig Collection will be moving to Costa Mesa, California, where, between July 22 and August 9, they will be part of the 2009 OC Super Fair.
