Installation View

This exhibit is made up of two installations.

On the walls is an untitled installation which, as displayed,  is made up of 12 panels, each holding 31 vials containing cherry blossoms and salt.  These vials are to be delivered to Shanidar Cave in Iraq, forming a world-wide flower arrangement as they are delivered.

The floor installation is entitled "Travels with Gulliver" and it is made up of 228 vials, each containing two pages from the book Gulliver's Travels.  The book was given to the artist by a deceased friend, and, in memory of the friend, these vials are to be delivered to Tsodilo in Africa, where the two were supposed to visit.
